How to make Magical Mugwort Oil

Mugwort  (Artemisia vulgaris)  is an herb with many healing properties and magical uses
Making your own Mugwort oil is easy

                                     You will need

Mugwort leaves and flowers to fill your jar.
Fresh is best, but if you can't get that, you can get it dried  from your local herb store

A Glass Mason jar large enough to fit  the oil and herbs

Crystals: examples are  Lapis Lazuli, Opal,Rose Quartz, Fluorite ,Jade , Agate, Peridot , Citrine. Amethyst  or any crystal you wish to use for your spell

Organic oil, I like olive oil, grapeseed oil, almond oil, sesame oil, and jojoba

                    Wooden stick for stirring

Step 1.  After you pick out the crystals, smudge them or give them a salt bath, and then bless them  by putting them in your non dominant hand, and affirming what you want their help with.
when ready Thank your Goddess and Gods you work with  and put the stones into the Glass jar

Step 2. Chop up your Mugwort  and Pack them into the Jar all the way to the top
don't worry there is plenty of room for the oil   use your wood stick to pack it in

Step 3  Fill the jar up 1 inch from the top with oil. pack in in with your wood stick to get out any trapped air pockets or bubbles .

Step 4.  Cap it  and Label it ( IMPORTANT )   and allow it to steep 4 -6 weeks
on the label put what herb  ,  Oil and Date when you packed it and what Crystals are in it.

Step 5  in 4 - 6 weeks  strain the Mugwort but don't throw away the leaves  keep them and dry them out and use for cleansing and healing rituals  and smudging and even use for Tea and  body ointments

Step 6 Clean your Crystals.

I will discuss how to use the mugwort oil in an up and coming blog
