House Protection Rune spell

This spell is meant to help you protect your house and your family from any kind of evil (spirits, negative energy or other people who mean harm to your loved ones.

Things You'll Need

Glass jar with cork stopper or lid

A piece of Obsidian stone

The Runes RAIDO, URUZ,ALGIZ

1/2 to 1 cup sea salt or kosher salt (depending on size of the jar)

3 cloves garlic

9 bay leaves

7 tbls. dried basil

4 tbls. dill seeds

1 tbls. sage

1 tbls. anise

1 tbls. black pepper

1 tbls. fennel

1 bowl

2 White Candles 

Gather all your ingredients. open your circle as you normally would

Carve the Runes on the Candle Light the Candles and anoint them with protection oil * see below

Take them outside on a sunny morning along with the bowl and jar. Place the Obsidian stone in the jar.

Put the salt into the bowl and say:Salt that protects, protect my home and all within it.Add the cloves of garlic to the bowl and say:Garlic that protects, protect my home and all within it.Imagine the bowl being filled with a white light.

Next take the bay leaves and crumble them into the bowl and say:Bay that protects, protect my home and all within it.Again, imagine the bowl being filled with a white light.

Add the basil and say:Basil that protects, protect my home and all within it.Imagine the bowl being filled with a white light.

Add dill and say:Dill that protects, protect my home and all within it.Imagine the bowl being filled with a white light.

Add the sage and say:Sage that protects, protect my home and all within it.Imagine the bowl being filled with a white light.

Add the anise and say:Anise that protects, protect my home and all within it.Imagine the bowl being filled with a white light.

Add the pepper and say:Pepper that protects, protect my home and all within it.Imagine the bowl being filled with a white light.

Add the fennel and say:Fennel that protects, protect my home and all within it.Imagine the bowl being filled with a white light.

Mix all the herbs together with your hands to infuse them with your energy as well as the energy of the sun. While stirring imagine your home filled with a white light of protection. Pour into your jar, over the stone, and close it with the lid.

Place the jar in your home in a place where the sun can shine upon it. Say: Salt and herbs, nine times nine Guard now this home of mine.It is done.

Close your circle and give thanks to your deities

Protection oil for candles and objects 

3 drops of nutmeg essential oil, 

3 drops of cinnamon essential oil

3 drops of rosemary essential oil, 

3 drops of frankincense essential oil, 

3 drop of lavender essential oil, 

3 drops of sandalwood essential oil

10ml base oil. such as sweet apricot oil , olive oil or almond oil

rub on candles or objects you wish to protect
