Making a box from an orange peel: perfect for spells that you bury.

Using orange peel, grapefruit and lime peel, the skins are soaked for several hours in water, then turned inside out and placed over a mould. They then spend several days
drying in the sun, and are then removed from the mould and polished. The boxes will apparently last for decades, although the natural scent of the fruit will only last 3 or 4 years.

you can Decorate it if you wish such as in the photo

This blow below does not belong to me it belongs to
http://manualidadesdetiempolibre-yaz.blogspot.com/2011/04/muy-buena-cajas-con-cascara-de-naranja.html?m=1    I copied it because its in another language and unable to read it  so I translated it into english

Fortunately, now the oranges are very useful - in the spring after avitominoze because making material can be found without difficulty. Not only can you use oranges and lemons.To produce a picture with my hands is needed:
- Any citrus, for example, showing orange;
- Glass or plastic, cans, these tanks are used to shape the skin,

- Container for soaking of the skin;
- Rubber money;
- Painting (tempera or acrylic) for a list of caskets;
- A spoon;
- baking soda.
Getting to the manufacture of boxes with their hands :
1. Orange cut in two parts and clean with a spoon from the pulp.
Two. In yard for soaking pour hot water with a tablespoon of soda without the slides, then place the back half received orange peel and soaked twelve hours to make them soft and flexible and not broken when the skin is dried in the form.
Three. After soaking becomes orange zest inside out and put on the form for drying, fixing elastic bands.
April. Approximately one - two weeks, the skin is dry on the forms. Largo - but worth it!
May. doing After drying acrylic paint or other paintings, fine tip felt pen before drawing a pattern.
June. The table is ready! Indeed, the life of this table is very large, as she soaked in soda.
It can be folded in a box to give your jewelry or friend

  1. This is a wonderful idea! What language was the instructions in to begin with? The second part of the instructions were very odd, it's like first, second and then suddenly May and June! do you have to wait a month before decorating them?
